Caldwell cries off Ireland team - 28th Aug 2007
Jonathan Caldwell (Clandeboye) has cried off the team to represent Ireland in the Home Internationals at Co. Louth Golf Club on 19th – 21st September, and has been replaced by Cian McNamara (Limerick).
Caldwell, who is a member of the Great Britain and Ireland team to face the USA in the Walker Cup matches at Royal Co. Down Golf Club on 8th and 9th September, is in his final year studying for a degree in Sports Management at the University of South Alabama.
The four teams for the Home Internationals are:
Ireland: Darren Crowe (Dunmurry), Cian Curley (Newlands), Paul Cutler (Portstewart), Niall Kearney (Royal Dublin ), Shane Lowry (Esker Hills), Joe Lyons (Galway), Pat Murray (Limerick), Cian McNamara (Limerick), Paul O’Hanlon (Curragh), Gareth Shaw (Lisburn). Simon Ward (Co. Louth).
Non-playing Captain: Michael Burns (Tramore).
