Boys Team to Play Canada - 25th Aug 2004
The Irish Boys team selected to play Canada in a Junior Challenge match at Hamilton Golf and Country Club from September 7-9 is: Niall Kearney (Royal Dublin), Simon Gallivan (Killarney), Simon Ward (Co. Louth), Karl Gilbert (Malone), Aaron O'Callaghan (Douglas), Christopher Hughes (Royal Portrush), Paul O'Hanlon (Curragh) and Michael Mulryan (Athenry).
Captain: Ciaran Burke (City of Derry).
Note: Rory McIlroy, the Irish Boys and Youths Champion, was unavailable for selection. Rory is a member of the Europe Junior Ryder Cup team to play the USA and which clashes with the Ireland v Canada match.
