The Normandy suite is the main function room at The Abbotsford. It has recently been renovated and now offers a beautifully decorated conservatory, full dance floor and bar.

With a capacity of 120 it is an ideal venue for weddings, parties and corporate events.

For a theatre seated event such as a conference the maximum capacity is approximately 90.

A smaller room is also available for business meetings and small events.

Conference equipment can be supplied for a small hire charge.

All functions at The Abbotsford are tailored to meet the specific needs of the client. Therefore all prices vary for each event depending on the service and refreshments required.

Galashiels is situated on the A7 Edinburgh to Carlisle road, and is 32 miles South of Edinburgh and approximately 45 miles North East of Carlisle.

The hotel can be found on the A7 one way system in the town centre, directly opposite to the bus station.
