Parties and Events

The Douglas Arms Hotel offers two function rooms.

The Ballroom and The Solway room. Both are ideal for any kind of special event.

The hotel can cater for up to 130 guests.

An Events Coordinator can help you plan your event if required.

The function rooms are also hired out for corporate events and conferences.

Smaller meeting rooms are also available. For a small hire charge we can provide flip charts, television, video, overhead projector and screen.

All functions at the Douglas Arms are tailored to meet the specific needs of the client. Therefore prices vary for each event depending on the service and refreshments required.

Hotel Directions

From The North
Exit A74(M) Jct 15 and follow A701 to Dumfries. Pick up the A75 (Euroroute) North of Dumfries and travel on for Approx. 16 miles before reaching Castle Douglas.

From The South
Exit A74(M) at Gretna Green and Take the A75 (Euroroute) heading for Stranraer. This will take you through Dumfries and on to Castle Douglas a further 16 miles on.
