Ballindalloch Castle Golf Course update - 29th Apr 2004
The 2004 Season:
Although some intrepid players have been in evidence over the Winter (we operate an honesty box system) the numbers have only started to build up over April. We have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of players who have come to enjoy the Course this month and hope that the trend will continue.
The Course is looking first class, with Craig and Muir putting in all the hard work to make the golfing experience second to none. The greens are still being kept well grassed to allow them more time to bed in and this will continue through the 2004 season. However, they are true and anything but flat or easy, regardless of the speed – a Donald Steel trademark.
Country and Overseas membership:
We have taken the decision to offer to visitors and others a choice of two special membership categories, Country Memberships and Overseas Memberships.
Country Memberships:
Is your main residence more than 100 miles from Ballindalloch (about 2½ hours' drive by car)? If so, you are eligible to become a Country Member of the Course and enjoy:
An entitlement to play 4 x 18 hole rounds of golf on the Course without restriction or further payment during each year of your membership.
A numbered Membership Certificate evidencing your membership of the Course.
An entitlement to apply for and receive a Handicap Certificate approved by the Scottish Golfing Union for your use on other courses.
A unique embossed leather Country Member’s bag tag.
Updates by e-mail regarding the Course, the Estate and country membership opportunities.
The Estate accommodation and the use of any other of the facilities on the 20,000 acre Ballindalloch Estate will be available for rent on a favourable basis on presentation of your Country Membership credentials.
The cost of a Country Membership is just £60.00 GBP per year. A one-time administration fee of £30.00 GBP will be charged on admission to membership in the first year only. Payment can be made by credit card or cheque. Renewals will be charged on the anniversary of first admission to membership.
Overseas Memberships:
Is your main residence outside the United Kingdom? If so, you are eligible become an Overseas Member of the Course and enjoy:
