WRIGHT BACK AT NO 1 - 3rd May 2005
Gareth Wright climbed back to the top of the Konica Minolta Order of Merit after tying for 14th place at the Lytham Trophy. Wright closed with rounds of 71 and 70 to claim 28.5 Konica Minolta points.
Tim Dykes had a good weekend scoring 71, 72, 75 and 69 to finish in a tie for 16th place moving him from 5th to 4th on the Konica Minolta list.
Also making the cut at Lytham were Nigel Edwards (T28th) and Southerndown's Llew Matthews (45).
The next Konica Minolta Order of Merit event is the Irish Open Stroke Play at Carton House, Dublin (May 6 - 8) and the Clwyd Open at Wrexham and Prestatyn (May 7/8).
