WRIGHT 3RD AT ST ANDREWS - 15th Jun 2004
Gareth Wright of West Linton recaptured some of last season’s form by finishing in a tie for 3rd place at the St Andrews Links Trophy at the weekend. Wright collects 115 Konica Minolta points and moves from 5th to 2nd place in the table.
Rhys Davies from Royal Porthcawl produced another impressive performance to claim 6th place at St Andrews and moves from 9th to 6th place in the Konica Minolta table.
Pontypridd’s James Williams collects 4 points for 30th place and Irish Open Stroke Play Champion finished in 36th spot after a disappointing final day..
The next Konica Minolta Order of Merit event is the Welsh Open Amateur Stroke Play at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club from 18th to 20th June.
