Stay and Play in Midlothian at the Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club - 14th Nov 2004
The Baronial Manor House of Dalmahoy is set in 1000 acres of wooded parkland at the foot of the rolling Pentland Hills.
It was built in 1724 and extended in 1990 when opened as a hotel and country club.
The two golf courses at Dalmahoy are James Braid courses designed in 1927 & 1935.
The championship East Course played host to the Solheim Cup and Scottish Seniors Open.
Only 3 miles from Edinburgh International Airport, Dalmahoy is ideally located close to Scotland's capital - Edinburgh - only 6 miles away.
A choice of dining is available. The award winning Pentland Restaurant or the informal Long Weekend Cafe/Bar.
Conference capacities range from 2 - 350.
Leisure facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gymnasium with professional fitness instructors, Health & Beauty Salon, solarium, and tennis courts.
The Golf & Leisure Shop retails many gifts and accessories and hires buggies and golf clubs.

Championship East Course
Marriott Dalmahoy's Championship East Course has undergone a £1 million redevelopment and extension and will be fully launched in Spring 2005.
It still retains the charm, character and challenge inspired by James Braid in 1927, yet the extended and beautifully altered course provides a test of nerve for all golfers.

Resort West Course
The Resort West Course is the shorter of the two courses, however, by no means does it's length make it the easier option! It is often said to be the more challenging of the two by offering a differencet test comprising of tight fairways and small greens and a finish criss-crossing the Gogar Burn that will surely test your nerve.
