Carnoustie Country Golf Pass - 7th Dec 2004

The Carnoustie Country Golf Pass was brand new in 2004.

Combine the ruggedness of links golf with the charm and diversity of our inland courses, and save up to 67% on normal green fees! Just £69 buys you a 4 round pass. An 8 round pass is only £138.

Simply purchase your pass and swap one voucher per 18 holes at any of the 14 participating courses.

How to purchase your pass

·The Carnoustie Country Golf Pass is valid from 1st April until 31st October 2005

·Choose either the 4 round or 8 round pass.

·The 4 round pass costs £69 and the 8 round pass costs £138

·The 4 round pass is valid for a period of five days, and the 8 round pass is valid for a period of 14 days, giving you the option to enjoy non-golfing days during your holiday.
·Choose the date when you would like your pass to be valid from.

·To purchase your pass, simply call 01382 527527 in advance of your visit, or call into any of our Tourist Information Centres when you arrive.

·Our staff will also be pleased to arrange accommodation for your golfing break. Please just let them know your requirements when you call.

Restrictions

·Both the 4 round and 8 round passes are valid for weekday play only (Mon – Fri).

·A maximum of 18 holes may be played on any one participating course.

·Please note that courses may be unavailable on days when local competitions are taking place. Play will always be subject to local club rules and regulations. Please refer to individual golf club listings overleaf for full details.

·Some clubs may require you to book tee times in advance, particularly if playing as part of a group. Please refer to individual golf club listings overleaf for full details.

·Smart casual clothes are the preferred attire at local clubs. Denims, football colours, tracksuits, trainers and collarless or sleeveless T-shirts are not usually permitted. Please check with clubs when booking.

·Vouchers from the same pass are not to be used by anyone other than the named player and are non-transferable. The pass cannot be exchanged for play at any other times than specified on the pass. Any golfer found abusing the regulations by any club will be asked to leave the course.

·There may be some restrictions on groups using the passes. Parties should contact clubs directly to ensure groups can be accommodated at specific times.

·In the event of bad weather forcing the closure of all participating courses, Angus & Dundee Tourist Board may be able to make partial refunds for unused vouchers during this period only.
·A number of clubs move on to temporary greens during October for essential maintenance. Please call to check with each individual club.

·In the event that your pass becomes lost before or during your visit, you will be liable to pay the full purchase price at the time of re-issue.

·Angus & Dundee Tourist Board cannot refund the cost of your pass in the event of you having to cancel your holiday. You are strongly advised to include the cost of your pass within your holiday insurance cover.

·Angus & Dundee Tourist Board and the clubs responsible for the golf courses participating in the Carnoustie Country Golf Pass will not be held responsible for any loss or injury incurred by golfers taking part in the scheme. In this regard, individuals should make their own insurance arrangements.
