In recent years, Glasgow has successfully reinvented itself as Scotland's cultural powerhouse, with some of the best-financed and most imaginative museums and galleries in Britain. Scotland's largest city boasts world famous architecture: Alexander 'Greek' Thompson and Charles Rennie Mackintosh are two of its famous sons and their works have been recently joined by the 'Armadillo' and the new Science Centre on the old shipyards of the Clyde, which have secured Glasgow's reputation at the forefront of cutting edge design and architecture. This 'dear green place' never fails to surprise with its diverse club scene, stylish bars, ancient heritage and modern, friendly outlook - not to mention its abundance of shops and markets.
The Merchant Quarter residence is located in the Merchant City, Glasgow's most desirable neighbourhood. Surrounded by restored 18th Century warehouses, it offers smart, modern en suite accommodation between Miller Street and Queen Street. On its doorstep are many of Glasgow's art galleries and its most stylish nightlife and cafe culture. Most of the city's higher education establishments are also within close proximity, including the world famous Glasgow School of Art, Strathclyde University, Glasgow Caledonian University and the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama.

QUEEN STREET
The eight-storey, newly-build accommodation in Queen Street is linked to the refurbished, listed building in Miller Street. As part of this development the old 'close' between the two streets, known as 'Merchant's Wynd', has been reinstated and this provides access to the property. The accommodation in Queen Street offers a variety of room sizes. All are en suite and share kitchens. Some of these rooms have disabled facilities.
MILLER STREET
The historically significant building at Miller Street has a mixture of single and double en suite rooms, some of which have their own kitchen facilities.
