The New County Hotel - 2nd Feb 2005
Perthshire - 'All of Scotland'. Perth - 'where city meets country'.
The New County Hotel - 'where surroundings reflect service' - a most stylish Scottish hotel, not just representing fantastic value for money, but offering a contrasting and exciting range of facilities and experiences for guest enjoyment quite unrivalled in the city.
A hotel committed to the very highest standards of modern hospitality in classical yet contemporary, softly elegant and very relaxing surroundings.
There are no barriers here - nor strangers. Our customers are our friends, part of our 'family'. Ladies will just love Café 22. Sportsmen and women will relax and reflect over an enjoyable, and hopefully successful day in 'The Place', our bar and bistro.
The Brasserie will tempt every palate. Lovely fresh bedrooms for all to unwind and feel at home in.
A very attractive conference and banqueting suite with a super selection of meeting rooms plays host to many a successful wedding or celebration, and thought stimulating and fulfilling conferences and meetings.
Totally flexible, individual service. Food served all day.
A great central yet quiet location in a great city.
What more could one ask for?
GOLF
Golf in Scotland knows no bounds, except 'out of bounds'!
We are very much 'in bounds' -surrounded as we are by an extravaganza of deliriously exciting golf for all tastes, from the seasoned to the beginner, courses where you can follow the masters' footsteps to charming, scenic, often testing ,but greatly enjoyable golfing gems amidst stunning countryside.
Clear air - long light. Great courses for the ladies to play. And a wonderfully relaxing and vibrant hotel to enjoy after a great day's sport..and anticipate the culinary delights and choice which awaits.
We are so popular as a golf hotel because we understand and deliver golfers' needs. From flexible meal times, to late and early breakfasts ( and bars ), to bacon rolls, to organising golf and teetimes. Places to dry you and your clubs.
Great group facilities, private dining, prizes for groups staying with us. Sightseeing and shopping programmes for the golfing widows. Hip flask filling service.
And our own hidden gem - King James VI Golf Club
Perth has a long and famous golfing history. James VI is supposed to have learned his golf on the Inches of Perth and so it was a good choice for the name of this club founded in 1858.
A very attractive course to play, on an island in the Tay right in the centre of town! Coincidentally, one of the only other places which has an island course like this is also Perth, but Perth, Australia!
Just savour this selection on our doorstep:
