DIAGEO CHAMPIONSHIP AT GLENEAGLES MOVES TO AUGUST
The European Tour has confirmed that the Diageo Championship at Gleneagles will be moved from June to early August on the Tour's international schedule for 2005.
Next year's schedule sees the Diageo swap places with the Dutch KLM Open, with the Gleaneagles tournament taking the August 4-7 berth, a week ahead of the US PGA Championship, being held next year at the famous Baltusrol CC course in New Jersey.
The tour's other visits to Scotland will be for the peak-time double-header of the Barclay's Scottish Open at Loch Lomond (7-10 July) and the Open Championship at St Andrews (14-17 July).
