Perthshire Golf Breaks - Abade Self Catering - 31st Oct 2004

Abade is an old Scot's word meaning, "abode" or "home". What we at Abade Self catering offer you is a "home from home" where the welcome is assured and guests come first.

Abade Self Catering is a small but growing collection of Scottish self catering properties that aim to give the visitor a really good holiday experience, by not only providing excellent quality self catering accommodation in beautiful locations, but also applying that attention to detail that makes all the difference between a good time and a really memorable holiday.

The collection of holiday cottages featured in Abade Self Catering Scotland are brought together by one owner with nearly 30 years experience of running a self catering business in Scotland. Unique apartments in a 19th century chapel, a converted mill house by a loch-side, a stables conversion and an architect-designed wing of a modern house bring variety and choice of destination that will surely please.

Each property has been personally inspected and many owners belong to the VisitScotland Quality Standards Scheme. High standards, cleanliness and good service are assured by each owner. Abade Self Catering homes offer much more than this however and guests will find an excellent supply of visitor information on a whole range of places to visit and activities in the holiday house as well as games, books, often a supply of videos, some have games rooms, all to provide indoor entertainment and information at the end of the day's touring or activity.

Abade's visitors have the comfort of knowing that each individual owner is on hand to chat about the area to ensure that every minute of guests precious time the Perthshire is used to the full. Look also for short breaks in off season, and last minute discounts or special offers that may be available.

We cannot always guarantee fine weather in Scotland, but Scotland is full of surprises and experience tells us that visitors to Scotland do not always see sunshine and bright blue skies the most important of criteria. Viewing Scotland's scenery in all weathers is dramatic and exciting and visits in the off-season can be particularly rewarding.
