GOULD ON TOP - 27th Apr 2004
Zac Gould from the Vale of Glamorgan went into the sole lead of the Welsh Golfing Union Junior Order of Merit after finishing in a tie for 12th place at the Trubshaw Cup. Lee Lewis of the Gower also had a creditable performance at the Trubshaw by finishing in joint 15th place.
At the Peter McEvoy Trophy, Adam Runcie from Abergele was the only Welsh player to survive the halving cut and finished in a tie for 22nd spot.
The next event is the Clwyd Open at Wrexham & Prestatyn Golf Clubs on 8th/9th May.
