St. Mary's is maturing into one of the most picturesque and well conditioned golf courses in the Vale of Glamorgan. - 26th Apr 2004
Without doubt the 18 hole hole golf course at St. Mary's is maturing into one of the most picturesque and well conditioned golf courses in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The yardage of 5291 flatters to deceive the golfer. The course demands more than just length, it requires a little bit of imagination to manouvre your way around, or indeed over, the mature oaks and the sultry designed bunkers and banks, not to mention the odd water hazard here and there, makes it a real test of golf.
We believe that our course is a fair challenge for any level of golf and more importantly a very enjoyable challenge that makes you come back again and again.
Sevenoaks 12 Hole Golf Course:
From initial concept to the finished product, a Golf Course goes through an abundance of change, with regard to tee and green positions, as well as the placement of hazards.
From a featureless cornfield, flanked by a damp woodland, in just a few months, a Golf Course was born and indeed it is the woodland that will house three of the most memorable and talked about holes.
