You can bring along your friends or business associates and enjoy all the pleasures that our facilities provide.

Our facilities include a golf course, driving range, pro shop, clubhouse, restaurant, function room, conference suite and tennis courts.

Greenmeadow Golf & Country Club is an ideal venue for your society or special golf day, or indeed any function that you might be considering.

We have a 6,000 yard, Par 70 18 hole park land golf course, 26 bay floodlit driving range, 6 tennis courts, a Conservatory Restaurant, and a clubhouse with its very own 'Olde Worlde' character offering a comprehensive range of beers, lagers, ciders, and spirits, together with an extensive range of meals. We are open to the public, so you do not have to be a member to use the facilities.

A warm welcome awaits you, whether relaxing in the bar and talking over your game, dining in the glass restaurant, or dining in the Function Room where private functions can be arranged, e.g. Christenings, Anniversaries, Birthday Celebrations, After funeral buffets etc ...

We can cater for any needs.

THE COURSE:

The 18-hole park land course is a Par 70 that measures over 6,000 yards, with many tree lined undulating fairways, scenic water hazards and many strategically positioned bunkers. The greens are excellent, mainly due to the typical PGA recommended specification, employed during contstruction, making them playable all year round. It is a good test, for any category of golfer. As well as the opportunity to play golf, the views of the surrounding areas are spectacular.

FACILITIES:

While you are with us, why not make use of our other facilities. We have a 26 bay, covered, floodlit Driving Range, which is open for public use 365 days a year, between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm during Summer, and between 8:00am and 9:00pm during the Winter. Also, we have a PGA Teaching Professional to assist you with your game, if needed.

In our golf shop, you will find everything necessary to meet your golfing requirements. Often, we provide special discounts throughout the season.

A 6 court Tennis facility is also available for hire should you want a change of sport.

Should you wish to spend some time in the area, possibly exploring our beautiful countryside, then we would be happy to recommend some local hotels for your accommodation. (Of which one offers a substantial discount especially with a 'Stay and Play' package.)

SOCIETIES:

Whether your society or special golf day is intended to be competitive or just enoyable and relaxing day's golf with your friends, our course will provide a challenge and excitement you deserve. Then, at the end of your game, you will be most welcome to relax and enjoy excellent food and drink in the comfort of our superb clubhouse.

Our society packages include coffee on arrival, and a free basket of balls in the driving range, but we will only be too pleased to discuss your requirements, so ensuring that we meet your needs and everyone has an enjoyable day. We also have caddy cars available for hire.

You do not have to be a member of the golf club to enjoy the facilities, however we do insist that you wear the correct golf attire and observe golf etiquette, and also obey all club and local rules.

FUNCTIONS:

We believe that we have the perfect situation and facilities for whatever function you have in mind. Our catering experience and services include Christenings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings to , After funeral light refreshments, Presentations, Conferences, Sunday lunches and Bar meals, and anything to cater for your needs, whatever you can think of!?

We are open to the public, so you do not have to be a member to use the facilities. Whatever the occasion, you and your friends or business associates are invited to enjoy all the pleasures that the Club can provide.

VISITORS:

Should your visit mean that you will be spending some time in the area, then we would be happy to recommend some local hotels for your accomodation. Whatever your needs, the staff at Greenmeadow Golf and Country Club are experienced in providing all the services necessary to ensure your function runs according to plan, with catering of the highest quality and prices to suit your budget. We might even have some ideas which could add to the enjoyment of your time here.

WEDDINGS:

Our Clubhouse, with it's 'Olde Worlde' character, set amidst the landscapes of the Golf Course, lends itself to be the ideal place for your very special day and treasured photographs. Yet, we are only 5 minutes from Cwmbran town centre and easily accessible to Newport and the surrounding valleys.

At Greenmeadow Golf Club, we have a policy of getting to know our customers, by doing this we feel we are able to assess the personal requirements for your Wedding Reception, and so give a better, and we feel, more personal service. We would like to invite you to a special appointment with a member of staff, where we can have an informal talk and also show you around the room where your reception would be held.

Greenmeadow Golf Club is a family run business where personal service and good value is always the prime consideration. We always make every effort to ensure that your special day is rounded off with 'no worry' and a joyful reception.

INCLUSIVE IN YOUR WEDDING PACKAGE:

• Red or White wine with your wedding breakfast.
• Sparkling wine for the toast.

For your choice of meal for your wedding breakfast, we have decided to give you the freedom to select your own menu at the all inclusive price, but if you wish to change any of the contents, we will be only to pleased to discuss this with you and give you a quote for your requirements.

Although you have the freedom to select your own menu, you must choose only : one starter, one main course and a choice of any two desserts. The only permissable exceptions to this will be for vegetarians, children or dietary reasons, but all of this can be discussed when we meet to talk through your requirements.

LOCATION:

Greenmeadow Golf and Country Club is situated off the Croesyceiliog by-pass on the A4042, and only 5 miles north bound from Junction 26 of the M4 from Cardiff, or Junction 25A from the Bristol area, and is easily accessible from the valleys and northern area.
