CRAIG SMITH AT NO. 1 - 3rd May 2005
Craig Smith won the Trubshaw Cup superb fashion at Ashburnham and Tenby and collects 150 Konica Minolta Order of Merit points.
Smith took the Carmarthenshire Open at AshburnhAm with a five under par total of 139 strokes in atrocious conditions.
At the Tenby Golden Eagle Aaron O’Callaghan of Ireland won with a total of 136 strokes to edge out Ben Westgate and Paul Hendriksen by virtue of a better final round.
Smith now leads the Konica Minolta Order of Merit from Duncan Putter winner Gareth Wright with James Williams in 3rd spot.
