The beautiful setting at Moss Valley Golf Club - 15th Mar 2004

Established in the late 1980’s the 9 hole course was designed by Golf Architects in a beautiful parkland setting just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Wrexham. The scenery can be compared with any part of North Wales and some of the views from the course are quite breathtaking.

The course was run by the local Council up to February 2001 but the day to day running has now been handed over to the members and a limited company has been formed. The enthusiastic membership are committed to making the club successful and the aims are to provide an opportunity for people from all walks of life to enjoy the pleasures of playing golf.

The course provides a good test of golf for both the experienced golfer and beginners alike with an interesting layout. Every hole is different in character and any golfer who plays to his handicap on the course will have played well.

The course welcomes visitors at a reasonable rate for both 9 and 18 holes and Golf Societies (up to a maximum of 24) will be welcomed with special packages available during the year.

Various categories of membership are available and the club actively encourages youngsters to become involved in the sport.
