Stay at The Plough Inn at Rhosmaen if golfing in Carmarthenshire. - 15th Aug 2004
The Plough Inn is a small friendly family run Hotel overlooking the beautiful Towy Valley and Brecon Beacons National Park in Carmarthenshire. Hospitality extends from the Hotel to the Restaurant where everyone is extended a warm welcome.
THE HOTEL:
Glorious pastoral views across the Towy Valley to the Black Mountains of the Brecon Beacon National Park may be enjoyed from all twelve of our modern, well appointed, ensuite bedrooms. With your comfort in mind all bedrooms in the hotel have direct dial telephones, satellite T.V., tea and coffee making facilities, baths and showers, hairdryers, ironing boards and adjustable heating/air circulation. Our guests may rest assured of a good nights sleep on our comfortable twin or king size beds (6'6" x 6'6"). Why not take advantage of our well-equipped Gym and Sauna during your stay?
If you need to stay on business, then the hotel is well suited to your needs. Each room has a desk ample enough for your work and should you need to connect to the web then you may use the phone line in your room. For dining, there is a choice of the restaurant with an a la carte and Italian menu or the Towy Lounge with a bar meals menu for yourself or for entertaining. However, if you are dining alone, you may choose to have room service from either menu.
If you would like to stay because you are travelling in the area on holiday or visiting friends and relatives we are again ideal for your needs. Our accessible but scenic location and high standard ensures our popularity. While lunch and dinner may be taken in the elegant Restaurant or cosy Towy Lounge (or weather permitting on the Terrace in summer), breakfast is served in the elegant chanderliered Penlan Lounge overlooking the garden and beyond to Capability Brown's Penlan Park in Llandeilo.
The Plough Inn welcomes families, there is no charge for children 12 and under sharing their parents' room and there is room for a sofa bed and cot in the room (we have our own cots). There is a baby listening service free of charge and baby sitters can be arranged at an extra cost. There is a room equipped for disabled guests and a further 4 rooms that have level ground floor access. All public areas, except the Penlan Lounge, are accessible with no stairs or steps. If stairs are a problem guests may have breakfast in their rooms.
Unfortunately, we do not accept pets in the hotel.
The Plough Inn has extensive safe free parking for all our guests.
