WELSH GOLFING UNION - JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT 2004 - 8th Mar 2004
FAST START FOR LOVELL
David Lovell from Anglesey won the Central Wales Boys at the weekend and now leads the Welsh Golfing Union Junior Order of Merit having collected 50 points from his victory.
Lovell’s scores of 69 at Borth & Ynyslas and 73 at Aberdovey ensured a two-stroke victory over his closest challenger Matthew Evans from Rotherham.
There were some promising early season performances from Adam Runcie who shared third spot with local favourite Marc Lewis.
The next event is the Duncan Putter at Southerndown on 10/11 April and then followed by the Peter McEvoy Trophy, 14/15 April at Copt Heath Golf Club.
