WILLIAMS REMAINS AT NO 1 - 24th May 2005
Chris Cousins and Nigel Edwards tied for 8th place on three under par the St Andrews Links Trophy over the weekend. Both players collect 45.2 Konica Minolta Order of Merit points, Edwards moving to 5th on the table while Cousins jumps into 9th spot from 16th.
Zac Gould tied for 28th on 2 over par and collects 4.33 points while James Williams (T36) and Rhys Butler of Aberdovey finished in 40th. Williams retains his No 1 position on the Konica Minolta list ahead of Gareth Wright.
The next Konica Minolta Order of Merit event is the Amateur Championship at Royal Birkdale and Southport & Ainsdale, 31st May – 4th June 2005.
