Golfing in Wales stay in one of the Welsh Historic Inns - 18th May 2004

Welsh Historic Inns currently encompass three historic and unique Hotels. These Hotels have individual and atmospheric characters, which reflect their locality and also their unique Welsh history.

The current oldest establishment is the Black Boy Inn at Caernarfon, which dates back to 1522. It is a unique building with some of its load bearing walls measuring 1.5 metres in thickness. It also has low ceilings, wooden panelling and thick wooden support beams.

The Bull Hotel in Llangefni on the Isle of Anglesey dates back to the 19th century and the White Lion at Bala dates back to the 18th century.

All establishments will offer a best value ethos, based on quality, value for money and all combined with a friendly atmosphere.
