HERTFORDSHIRE GOLF AT THE HERTFORDSHIRE GOLF CLUB - 14th Dec 2004

At 6176 yards from the white tees and 4839 yards from the reds, The Hertfordshire´s par-69 golf course has proven itself to be among the most challenging in England and a true test to all golfers. Designed by the renowned architect Jack Nicklaus II, whose creativity and technical expertise can be appreciated on every hole, the course meanders its way through aesthetic Hertfordshire countryside, and plays host to an abundance of wildlife and attractive water features.

The Hertfordshire is a semi-private club, open to the public, yet also offering private memberships. Memberships range from unlimited play during the week to a reduced green fee type, and may also include complimentary or reduced-fee golf at any one of the 23+ American Golf UK courses throughout the country.

The practice facilities on offer to our members and guests are second to none. We offer an undercover, 27-bay floodlit driving range, a large putting green close to the first tee and clubhouse, a short game practice area with chipping green and practice bunkers, and a Members-Only open grass academy.

Experienced teaching professionals are always on hand to assist you in perfecting your game, and our fully stocked pro-shop offers everything for the beginner right up to the experienced professional, stocking the worlds best known brands.

As The Hertfordshire has full irrigation, there is no need for temporary greens or tees during even the wettest winter months and is perfect for your next corporate outing or society booking. Please check the specials page for information on upcoming special events, corporate days, and society specials.
