What are the rules of this website?

The rules of the website are all contained in the terms of use and when you are navigating through the website you will notice that we have created four buttons at the bottom of every page which can be clicked.

For your convenience these can be accessed wherever you are within the website. The three most frequently used are "Privacy Policy", "Disclaimer" and "Copyright" but we have added a fourth button which is "Terms of Use" and this is the whole document so whichever button you click you will then be able to scroll the whole length of the terms of use to find exactly what the website rules are.

To simplify this for you, at the top of the terms of use we have created headings and these (when clicked) will take you to that part of the terms of use page thus making it easier for you to find the information that you are searching for.

Where can I find the accommodation section / listings?

On the left handside of the page the main navigation panel has a button named "Database Search" - move your cursor over this and this displays three sub menu's "Golf Club & Course Finder", "Accommodation Finder" and "Directory of Advertisers". Simply click on the "accommodation finder" then either complete the name of the accommodation (if known) or use the drop down menu and select the desired area then click search.

I have attempted to print a page from the Golf.Uk.Net website and have been unable to, are you aware?

Yes, we are fully aware of this point. Printing off details from the Golf.Uk.Net website is not possible as during the development stages of the website we took the view that we wanted visitors to "click through" to the respective website links.

As you will appreciate we have over 5000+ (and growing daily!) viewable pages on Golf.Uk.Net and the primary aim of the Golf.Uk.Net website is to act as a kind of directory and information portal to enable visitors to be typically directed to other websites of interest.

Most websites have the "print page" facility and whilst this is usual of "end destination" sites that want their visitors to print off and take away their information, we are not an "end destination" site and therefore by disabling the print function would mean that a visitor is more likely to click through to the "end destination" website and then print off the information required.

Our "deliberate" decision that we took during the development stages had this specific reason behind it. We hope that you understand why the "print" facility has been disabled as it is more likely that our visitor(s) will read the brief introduction and then click through to the respective website via the hyperlink(s) provided on most of the Golf.Uk.Net pages (where printing off the required information is permitted).

Can I make payment for my advertising campaign by internet banking?

Yes. Please call us on 08451 191919 for our bank details.

How can I increase the size of text on the website?

Nothing could be easier!

Simply return to your desktop of your computer, click the right hand mouse button and select PROPERTIES from the list by clicking the left mouse button once.

From the next screen that is displayed you will see several tabs at the top, select SETTINGS by clicking the left mouse button once. You will then be taken to another screen.

From the new screen you will see a section named SCREEN AREA, there is a sliding button option with LESS to the left and MORE to the right. By sliding the button to the left (LESS) will increase the size of the text and to the right (MORE) will reduce the size of the font. You then simply click APPLY then OK. (The screen may dissapear for a few seconds until it configures to what you have selected).

When the screen returns, a pop up menu appears asking if you want to keep these settings, select YES. You can always change them at a later stage by simply following this procedure again.

NOTE: By making the changes above to increase / decrease the size of the monitor settings will change everything that you view NOT just the Golf.Uk.Net website text. Different websites are optimised to be viewed best by certain settings, however, this can be dependant on several factors, personal preference, how the website has been designed so the above procedure is useful if you want to change your personal preference.

We are afraid that we cannot answer all technical problems or questions that you may have within the Golf.Uk.Net FAQ's section, however, we hope that this information helps you view our website so that you get maximum pleasure and ease of use.

How do I get to the holiday section of Golf.Uk.Net?

Nothing could be easier - simply click here...

When viewing the Ireland section the "map" and "weather" facility seem to not be working - are you aware of this?

Yes. This is due to the fact that these two facilities use postcodes to pin point the map and weather, however, Ireland does NOT have postcodes therefore it will not work in the Ireland section.
