Lynturk Home Farm

Lynturk Home Farm is a listed Georgian farmhouse originally built in 1762 and extended by Veronica and John.

Veronica's ancestor, William McCombie, founded the Aberdeen Angus breed of cattle on the farm. It is situated in lovely countryside 20 miles west of Aberdeen and is only 20 minutes from Aberdeen Airport.

Lynturk is a haven of peace, where a warm and comfortable welcome awaits guests, with excellent food produced by Veronica who is a Cordon Bleu cook.

The 300 acre farm is a joy to walk on, and is very well situated as a base for exploring the north east of Scotland.

Visit the renowned Aberdeenshire Castles, explore the distilleries, or how about visiting the Cairngorms?

There are many golf courses nearby. Roe stalking or fishing can be arranged in season. Bridge breaks available by arrangement.

From Aberdeen take the A944 towards Alford. Turn left 1 mile before Whitehouse to Tough. Go straight past Tough and after 1 mile Lynturk Home Farm is signed to the left.
