Peacefully located, close to the main A93 road leading to Glenshee and magnificent Royal Deeside.

Built in 1893 this lovely Victorian Villa is set amidst almost 3 acres of woodland.

ACCOMMODATION:

Glenshieling is a peaceful haven located away from the main road and traffic noise amidst 3 acres of woodland.

There are six well appointed rooms, five of which are en-suite and one with private facilities, comprising of two family rooms, three double rooms and one located onthe ground floor level.

All rooms overlook the grounds and hills beyond.

The Proprietors of Glenshieling House, Maureen and Jens Arpe have a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry which is evident from their attention to detail and ensures the comfort and wellbeing of their guests.

Breakfast and dinner is served in the elegant Dining Room, providing views over the well tendered Hotel gardens.

Jens trained as a Chef in renowned hotels in Germany and London. After attending Hotel Management School in Heidelberg, Germany he worked his way up the Corporate Hotel Management ladder working in world famous hotels in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Canada and eventually becoming General Manager of hotels in Scotland and in England.

Jens has now "escaped" corporate stresses and returned to his first love - cooking!

He and his Wife Maureen, have now fulfilled their dream of running a country house hotel in Perthshire.

Delicious breakfasts and dinners are served using fresh local scottish produce with some continental flair.

Menus are changed daily and guests with special dietary needs are catered for.
