Easily accessible by road from Fife via the Tay Bridge, Edinburgh and Perth via the M90 and the A90 dual carriageway, Aberdeen via the A90 Carnoustie and Arbroath, following the A92.

Ideally located for touring Royal Deeside and the Angus Glens and golf courses, St. Andrews lies on the other side of McGonigall's "silvery" Tay.
