Welcome to Craighead Bed & Breakfast, Glenlivet, Scotland. We offer you very friendly family run guest accommodation in a beautiful rural location within the heart of the world famous Whisky Trail.

ACCOMMODATION:

Craighead B&B is registered with The AA as 'Three Diamond Guest Accommodation'.

Our accommodation offers a spacious first floor bedroom with large en-suite with shower. The room is attractively decorated and comfortably furnished in pine and has both a double and a single bed. We offer tea and coffee making facilities, easy chairs, T.V. and video. Breakfast is taken in a cosy ground floor dining room, with a comfortable shared lounge situated nearby.

Children of all ages are welcome and there is a travel cot in the bedroom ready for your use.

Craighead B&B has full central heating and you can independently control the temperature in your rooms.

We have ample off road parking for cars and cycles / motorbikes can be garaged overnight if you wish. Drying facilities are available for those walkers, cyclists or motorcyclists who need them.

Please note that for reasons of safety and for the comfort of all our guests that there is no smoking on the premises.

WHERE TO EAT OUT:

Within walking distance from Craighead is the Poachers' Retreat Inn which serves good food and is family friendly.

Two miles from Craighead is the very cosy Croft Inn which serves a home made menu and has an excellent range of whiskys.

9 miles in either direction from Craighead are the villages of Dufftown and Tomintoul both of which have a good selection of places to eat and drink.

We will be happy to give you a lift in our car to and from either the Poachers' Retreat or the Croft Inn.

HOW TO FIND US:

To find Craighead turn off the A95 onto the B9008 towards Glenlivet. In approximately 5 miles turn left onto the B9009 Dufftown Road. Craighead Bed and Breakfast is approx 2 miles on left.

Our nearest railway station is Aviemore, (45 minutes drive) and both Inverness and Aberdeen Airports are about 60 miles away, (75 minutes drive).
