Langside Farm
Earliest records of the farmhouse date back to 1745, the year of the last Jacobite Rebellion led by Bonnie Prince Charlie against George II's government forces.
The rebellion was finally put down by the Duke of Cumberland's army at the Battle of Culloden the following year.

LOCATION:
Access is easy to: Glasgow (35 minutes by car), Edinburgh (1¼ hours), the Clyde coast, Largs (10 minutes), the ports of Ardrossan (15 minutes) for the ferry to Arran and Troon (20 minutes) for the Seacat to Ireland, and both Glasgow and Prestwick airports (20 minutes). Scotrail also operates regular services from Dalry and Kilwinning to Glasgow Central Station and most of the coastal towns from Largs in the north to Stranraer in the south. (We can provide pick-up and drop-off facilities at Glengarnock, Dalry and Kilwinning stations by arrangement.)
