Huntly Hotel

The Huntly Hotel was built between 1900 and 1903 and retains many of the original Victorian features. The Hotel is situated in the small town square of Huntly and is privately owned.

ROOMS:

We have eleven bedrooms - seven of which are en-suite, two have private bathrooms and there are two single rooms with a shared bathroom. All rooms have been recently refurbished.

FACILITIES:

The Hotel has a Lounge Bar, Public Bar, two Function Rooms, a Restaurant where we have built up a reputation for good food and friendly service. There is also a well stocked
wine cellar.

LOCATION:

The Huntly Hotel is within easy walking distance of an excellent 18- hole golf course and a bowling green. There is also a swimming pool, tennis court and Nordic Ski Centre nearby. Fishing is available
on the rivers Deveron and Bogie. Permits can be obtained locally.

HUNTLY - THE AREA:

Huntly is on the Malt Whisky Trail including the famous Glenfiddich and Glendronach Distilleries. We are also on the Castle Trail and can boast a 17th Century Castle with the remains of a 12th Century Motte Barley, a medieval L-plan Tower House and defence earthenworks of the Civil War are still visible. Huntly Castle is the former stronghold of the Gordon Clan and is well worth a visit.
