Delnashaugh Hotel

The Delnashaugh Hotel is situated within the delightful countryside of the Spey Valley. It sits beside the A95 between Grantown-on-Spey and Charlestown of Aberlour at Ballindalloch.

It is under the control of Dorothy and Neil Meldrum who makes every effort to ensure that everyone is special and enjoys their stay at the Delnashaugh.

There is a great deal to occupy the holidaymaker, with fishing in the River Avon pronounced A’an. There are six miles of excellent Salmon and Sea Trout fishing, there is a well-appointed rod room and deep freeze facilities. Packed lunches can also be arranged for those who prefer to stay by the river all day. Shooting parties and also Roe Deer Stalking, which is controlled by the Ballindalloch Estate. For the walker there is the famous Speyside Way, in the winter the skiing at Aviemore and the Lecht.

For the golfer there is golf courses at nearby Grantown on Spey and Ballindalloch course within a short par four from the hotel front door.

The lounge bar and dining room are open for bar lunches daily, with a wide selection of meals to cater for everyone’s tastes. Afternoon Teas are also served with home baking. The well-appointed restaurant is open between 7 and 9pm for dinner each evening, with a menu, which boasts local produce, prepared to a high standard.
