Glenlivet Holiday Homes & Poachers Retreat Inn

Situated in the heart of 'Whisky Country' approximately half-way between Aberdeen and Inverness, there are many distilleries open to the public including 'The Glenlivet', which can be seen from your lodge ~ and a short distance away are many castles, houses and gardens open to the public including Ballindalloch Castle, one of the most beautiful and romantic castles in Scotland.

Many activities are available locally including Fishing, Walking, Shooting, Golfing, Cycling, Skiing at the Lecht, or just exploring or relaxing ~ advice and brochures are freely available from friendly staff at this family-run business.

Not to mention the very fine selection of whiskies, wine and local dishes that are always available from the Poachers Retreat Inn on-site, where you can plan your next day's adventure and enjoy a drink.

The Lodges are wood panelled throughout and beautifully appointed.

BEN RINNES LODGES:

Ben Rinnes Lodges sleep 6-8, consist of lounge, dining and kitchen with patio door, which allows you to enjoy the most wonderful view South towards the Cairngorms.

Three bedrooms offer one double, one with a set of twin beds and another with a set of full size pine bunks. All have fitted wardrobes and drawer space. The personal sauna is located in the shower room which also has a w.c. and wash basin. Electric panel heating and double glazing complete the picture.

STAG COTTAGE:

Stag Cottage sleeps up to 4, and is a stone-built cottage all on ground level. There are two bedrooms, one double and one with a full size set of pine bunks.

The lounge / dining / kitchen is fully equipped and the whole cottage is heated by electric convectors and panel radiators. A shower room completes the cottage.

GUN COTTAGE:

Gun Cottage sleeps 2.

A stone built studio-style accommodation consisiting of large double bedded room/lounge and kitchen. Seperate shower room/wc.
