Dating back to the early 1700's, Allandale House, has seen many changes throughout its long history. It is now a stylish bed and breakfast of great comfort and character, which has been refurbished to a very high standard, yet still retains many of its original features.

You will be delighted with the accommodation - each spacious bedroom has tea and coffee making facilities, colour television and central heating. Most rooms have private facilities, one of which is a family room. Children are well catered for, with highchairs and cots provided. Car park.

To start your day in style, a plentiful Scottish breakfast is served in the tastefully furnished dining room. Our breakfast consists of:

- Extensive cold buffet table with fresh fruit (in summer includes fresh strawberries and raspberries), cereals, fruit juices and various yoghurts.
- Followed by full Scottish breakfast.

For other meals, there are many places in Auchterarder and surrounding areas to enjoy eating in.

Auchterarder, a typical small Scottish country town, is in an ideal location. It is perfectly situated as a base for touring Scotland. Perth, Stirling, Pitlochry, The Trossachs, Loch Lomond and Edinburgh are all less than 1 hour away. Why pay higher prices and have traffic and parking problems in Edinburgh? We're only an hour away by motorway.

The area is ideal for golfers, with an abundance of golf courses to play. Auchterarder has its own beautiful golf course and world famous Gleneagles is only 2 miles away. St Andrews and Carnoustie are about a 45 minute drive. For other sports enthusiasts, River Earn and local lochs offer trout and salmon fishing. Pony trekking, shooting, ballooning and parachuting are all available locally. There are also many delightful walks and hillwalking in the area.
