Set in the heart of the Kingdom of Fife this 3 star inn provides an ideal base from which to explore the whole of Scotland, lying within easy reach of Scotland's major cities Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as the mist shrouded, wild and romantic Highlands.

Our rooms are all double or twin and feature en-suite, tea/coffee making facilities and television. Our tariff is for bed & breakfast, please contact us for the most up-to-date pricing information. Private car parking is available to the front and rear of the Hotel.

After a long day's exploring of the delightful Scottish countryside or indulging in some strenuous sporting activity we invite you to while away the evening in front of a roaring open fire in one of our public areas.

Enjoy fine ales, wines and tasty bar food in the warm, relaxing atmosphere of our Tarvit Bar. The bar is not only open to our residents but is a popular meeting place for local folks, who drop in for a few drinks with friends and family to enjoy some cheerful banter.

Our cosy and intimate restaurant offers a wide range of appetising dishes to suit every palate. All our food is freshly prepared on the premises using only the finest seasonal local produce. The restaurant is open to serve both lunches and dinner.

Situated in the heart of the North East corner of Fife, Meldrums is within easy reach of many modes of transport. The main Aberdeen - London rail line has stops at Leuchars, Cupar, Ladybank and Dundee. Scot Airways has a number of daily scheduled flights in and out of Dundee Airport and of course you can always arrive by car whilst enjoying the natural beauty of this picturesque corner of Scotland.

With Ceres only 6 miles from St Andrews & within easy reach of a multitude of fine courses, Meldrums Hotel is in the centre of a golfers paradise.

Apart from golf, the area has a wide range of adventurous & exciting outdoor activities to offer. Why not explore the beauty of the Scottish countryside on horseback or feel the rush of adrenalin during a gallop along wide empty beaches?

Or you could try your hand at field sports at the renowned & exclusive Teasses Estate, including trout fishing & clay pigeon shooting. Novices are welcome with both equipment & instruction available. If strenous activity is not your idea of a holiday, then you could just relax with a stroll through the picturesque fishing villages of the nearby East Neuk.
