Welcome to Pier View, our seafront flat in central Helensburgh. In an enviable location at the heart of the town and facing the pier, guests will find local amenities readily accessible.

Shops, including all the major chains and local speciality businesses, a choice of restaurants, the main line railway station (trains to Glasgow), Helensburgh upper station (trains to Oban, Fort William and Mallaig) and the swimming pool are all close by.

Pier View is ideally placed for Loch Lomond and the new National Park; for a wide selection of golf courses; National Trust for Scotland's "The Hill House" by Charles Rennie Mackintosh; and the Faslane Naval Base.

The spacious accommodation comprises a well equipped dining-kitchen with the added convenience of a dishwasher plus full laundry facilities including a washer and tumble drier.

The light and airy lounge has comfortable seating with the addition of a sofabed and has TV, video and hi-fi. Three large picture windows offer a panoramic view of the Clyde and provide an excellent vantage point from which to while away an hour or two just watching the world go by!

The two guest bedrooms each have a double bed and the main bedroom has an extra single. Both have TVs and telephones and the main bedroom also has a washbasin. The bathroom has both bath and shower.

The property is centrally heated throughout and booking rates are inclusive of all gas and electricity. Linen and towels are provided free of charge.

Ideal as a family holiday base, the provision of a comprehensively equipped office makes Pier View additionally suited to business travellers. There is a desk, a computer with wordprocessing package and printer, email, fax and telephone answering facility. Phones are also fitted in both bedrooms.

Potential guests should note that, although all the accommodation is on one level, Pier View is a first floor flat accessible only by an external stairway and as such may be unsuitable for some visitors with mobility difficulties.

Please also note that Pier View is completely non-smoking and we cannot accept pets.

Public parking is available at the pier car park opposite, and within view of, the property.
