Muasdale Holiday Park

This peaceful and relaxing park is situated on the west coast of the Kintyre Peninsula Scotland. It has superb views over the Atlantic and the Islands of Gigha, Jura and Islay. Campbeltown, the nearest town, is 15 miles away, where the Tourist Information Centre can be found.

There is plenty to see and do in Kintyre. Swimming is possible from any of the sandy beaches around the peninsular. Walking, sailing, fishing, surfing, horse riding, visiting the different Islands and distilleries are all on offer.

Small boats, dinghies and canoes can be launched from the beach. Diving is possible from many bays around the peninsula, compressed air is available locally.

Machrihanish golf course is famous for its 1st Hole which is rated by Jack Nicklaus as the "World's Greatest opening hole".

The Isle of Gigha, is well known for it's famous gardens and is only a 20 minute ferry crossing from Tayinloan which is 3 miles from Muasdale. This island has recently been in the news as it's residents have bought the island and are currently raising funds towards the final figure.

Just down the road, Machrihanish beach is where the Atlantic rolls in unobstructed and is ideal for surfing. Machrihanish and Westport water level samples achieved a credible rating of 7.2 points out of 10 by SEPA. One of the cleanest in Scotland!

Davaar Island (which lies in the mouth of Campbeltown Loch) can be visited when the tide is low via a causeway, in one of the caves a painting of the Crucifixion can be seen. Tide times available in Reception.

The park offers 7 new and nearly new 1,2 and 3 bedroom Caravan Holiday Homes. The Jura Apartment and Holiday Homes are fully equipped, offering spectacular sea views of the islands Gigha, Islay and Jura. On a clear day the Paps of Jura can be seen.

There is a games room/laundry on site available to all visitors. A selection of board games are available on request.
