The Westerwood

The Westerwood is situated in 400 acres nestling at the foot of the Campsie Hills. Purpose built in 1991, the resort was purchased by Morton Hotels in March 2000 and since has seen major investment to both the hotel and course as part of an ongoing development programme. A new wing of Master accommodation has just opened bringing the total number of bedrooms to 100.

The 18-hole golf course, with professional Alan Tait as Club Manager. Residents benefit from reduced rates for golf and tuition is available. Corporate Golf Days are a speciality with experienced staff on hand to help with the arrangements.

Westerwood's convenient central location midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh, with ample free car parking, makes it an ideal choice whether you are visiting the area for a business event or a leisure break.

Leisure facilities include an indoor pool and gymnasium - which has recently been extended and boasts state-of-the-art fitness equipment. For the less energetic, the steam-room, jacuzzi and sauna could be what you're looking for and the 'Eternal Beauty' Salon is the perfect place to be pampered with a variety of health and beauty treatments.

Sitting on the Clubhouse patio looking out over the course to the stunning backdrop of the hills beyond, it'll be hard to believe that you're only twelve miles out of town. A short drive or train journey takes you right into the heart of Glasgow.
